Giraffe and Lions

Giraffe mothers don't always stay close to their babies and sometimes don't miss them until too late.
This mother had worked out that her youngster was under the bush where the male lion can just be seen.
She stayed around for quite some time patiently watching and eventually we left her to mourn her loss
